Would printer paper work?

it will be a bit more difficult to asemble without crushing it by mistake. and it will be wobbly ,too. you can glue ,once printed, another piece of paper to the back of the pattern, that will work,if you glue them well.

its like a cone, just roll it and adjust the overlay of paper until you think looks good.

Oh but i was wondering: how do i attach the neck to the head?

once the head is assembled(without hair, or not) just insert to it the neck with some glue over the zone of contact.

depends, if you glue the parts, no, if you find a way to attach them with a pin i guess it can be done

first the fringe and back of the head, then , once you attached the head to the neck, the mane.

After a few sheets of paper and some frustration I finished it. I screwed up a few time and had to carefully peel pieces apart and re glue them so might try again. Getting the face on was the hardest part. How do you do it

Hey... So, I had an idea while making this papercraft, so I stuffed the tail and body with cotton and I use small pebbles to keep the papercraft standing straight.

está centrado el flequillo, pero la melena va inclinada para que quede bien al costado.

I think I'll start over on Twilight. the tail, horn, and ears look good after I apply glue, but the rest failed XD
It's my first pony though so I expected a fail XD

the whole head is one piece. first cut it carefully (i know the little triangles are annoying to cut, but they will be useful later).
now, with a cutter you will mark all the way between the triangles and the skin color. this way you will be able to fold easily the triangle bits. ok. :D now, you will glue carefully one of the sides of the face to them. i use to glue two or trhee triangles at a time, so i can comb the paper properly, following the profile of the face... once you got all the side glued, it is easy to paste the other side, since it has almost perfect shape now. when done, carefull with the cutter (that is why it is so important to use medium thickness paper)you will cut a line from the firdt mark on zecora´s forehead (i will post the finished model photo soon,or you can look at the image of zecora in the pattern) there will be inserted the hair.hope this helps! :D
